York County Hikes – People play this game for a variety of reasons. For us, geocaching represents a way to explore the natural beauty hidden around us. We decided to place a series of caches that will take you to some lesser used parts of the county and will hopefully get your heart pumping at the same time. Have fun, be safe, and enjoy all of what York County has to offer!
This is Emma describing my first hide. The cache is a lock and lock container hidden in a rock wall. When I found this spot, the first thing I said was "This is payback for all the times we searched in rocks -we are not giving any hints." It is about a 0.6 mile hike to the wall from the parking lot. My dad put in a pathtag for a first to find prize. Watch out for the woolly cows - they really freaked me out. Hope you have fun finding my cache! By the way - I took the picture below with my new camera. Is it a hint?

Hint added 12/23/2012: So as not to disrupt or destroy the wall a hint has been added. Hint corrected 1/12/2020 - wow that was a terrible hint. No wonder people could not find it. It has been updated again.
