This cache is part of a series of presidential caches.
These caches will come in a variety of sizes, difficulties and terrains. They will be placed all across the area. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding them.
Thomas Jefferson was the third U.S. president. He was born on April 13, 1743 in Virginia. He died on On the 4th of July, 1826 just hours before the death of John Adams. He was president from March 4, 1801 until March 4, 1809. He was affiliated with the Democratic-Republican party. He almost didn't become president. He lost 4 years earlier by 3 electoral votes to John Adams. In 1800 he actually tied Aaron Burr in electoral votes. The House of Representatives settled the tie giving it to Jefferson.
This cache should be fairly easy to find, but could be a little tough if the snow gets deep. Getting to the cache could be mildly challenging during certain times of the year. There are a few wet areas getting to this one, but it seems to be dry in the immediate area. Parking is available at the coordinates below. Please be sure that you rehide the cache at least as well as it was hidden when you found it.
Since this was actually hidden on Christmas day I was in a holiday spirit. There is a nice little present for the FTF.
