A few blizzards and record snowfall won't prevent sporting
activities in this state. It does become necessary to find a
friendlier arena (indoor Courts) for winter contests. I was snow bound last weekend
and decided to check out some sports on the tube. I found plenty of
Minnesota Court action to enjoy. Here is a sampling:
Saturday
4:00 a.m. - Channel 4 had handball action in Mpls
4:40 a.m. - Channel 14 covered an indoor tennis match, also in Mpls
2:30 p.m. - Channel 3 had an interesting jai alai match in St. Paul
9:10 p.m. - Channel 8 was Court side for volleyball from Brainerd
9:30 p.m. - A game of squash was broadcast from Mankato on channel 6
10:15 p.m. - A District basketball tournament in Rochester was on channel 12
Sunday
9:00 a.m. - Channel 9 had more Minnesota District basketball Court action from Aitkin
2:00 p.m. - Channel 32 covered a racquetball contest in White Bear Lake
2:20 p.m. - Volleyball was the fare on channel 22 in Mounds View
7:10 p.m. - More indoor tennis on channel 7 from St. Cloud
8:25 p.m. - Olivia was the site of more handball Court matches on channel 8
8:35 p.m. - Channel 12 covered more District basketball contests in Rochester
9:00 p.m. - The evening ended with an entertaining volleyball game on channel 4 from Hastings
The container is a larger vitamin bottle in camo. It contains a log, pencil and a $1 bill in cold cache cash for the FTF. There is room for smaller items. Have fun and be safe. Clues to follow.
