This is our first cache that we have placed. the treehouse is really cool and fun to sleep in. It was built August 2009 by Dad. It lies on a footpath between Moorend and Lower Hall on Church Road - forms part of a lovely circular walk by Hilltop geocache (more by St Thomas' church). The geocache was a christmas present. Watch out for dog walking muggles!
This is on a flat footpath between Moorend and Church Rd. Refreshments nearby at the Oddfellows Arms and Devonshire Arms. Nearest public toilets on The recreation ground at the lower end of Church Rd. Parking at church or at pubs if making use of their facilities! Not suitable for wheel chairs and path can get a bit muddy.
This geocache is named after Samuel Sebastian Wesley - a gifted English composer of Anglican Church music. He is a favourite composer in Mellor Church Choir and we have named our dog after him!
