Geocache Description:

THIS IS A CHALLENGE CACHE.

IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS - DO NOT LOG IT AS A FIND.

THE CACHE ACTUALLY IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.

Touring on the road can be tough. Just ask 'The Man in Black' about it. He wrote a little tune about all the places he'd been a while back that has a catchy rhythm and great lyrics.

This challenge cache is designed to recognize the travails of the travelers among us in a unique way. In order to log this challenge cache as a find, you must have found caches in 31 of the 92 places mentioned in the song. The container is a custom painted ammo can. If you're finding anything else -- it's a throw-down imposter.

Some basic ground rules:

1. You may not use any single place listed in the song more than once in achieving your list of 31 finds to qualify -- even if they are cities of the same name in different states, eg. only Kansas City may be used for either KS or MO, but not both.

2. You may only log this cache once, despite the incredible fact that you have found caches in 66 or even 92 of the places visited.

3. Since Johnny mentions cities overseas, e.g. Barranquilla (Colombia), Ottawa (Canada) and La Paloma (Spain), cities with names in the lyrics located outside of the US where you've found a cache are fair game.

4. When using a state or country mentioned in the lyrics to meet the quota to log, you cannot also use the same cache found to meet a city requirement within that same state ,e.g. Tulsa and Oklahoma would require more than one find to satisfy, as would Shreveport and Louisiana.

5. You may use alternate spellings of place names, such as Pittsburg/Pittsburgh/Pitsburg, however, additional words such as Falls, City, Hills, etc. are prohibited unless Johnny has specifically called them out in the lyrics.

6. You must physically find this ammo can and sign the log. When you log your find on this listing, you must include your list of 31 finds as follows: #1 -31, lyric location name, GC number of cache, date found.

There will be a short, but steep climb to the hiding spot. Pull off from the road and park. It's a black .30cal ammo can. Be sure to check out page three of the logbook -- it's my favorite picture of Johnny!

Failing to satisfy these conditions will result in your find being disqualified and removed. To help you along, we've included the lyrics below:

"I've Been Everywhere"

I was totin' my pack along the long dusty Winnemucca road,
When along came a semi with a high an' canvas-covered load.
"If you're goin' to Winnemucca, Mack, with me you can ride."
And so I climbed into the cab and then I settled down inside.
He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and sand.
And I said, "Listen, I've traveled every road in this here land!"

[Chorus:]
I've been everywhere, man.
I've been everywhere, man.
Crossed the desert's bare, man.
I've breathed the mountain air, man.
Of travel I've had my share, man.
I've been everywhere.

I've been to:
Reno, Chicago, Fargo, Minnesota,
Buffalo, Toronto, Winslow, Sarasota,
Wichita, Tulsa, Ottawa, Oklahoma,
Tampa, Panama, Mattawa, La Paloma,
Bangor, Baltimore, Salvador, Amarillo,
Tocapillo, Baranquilla, and Perdilla, I'm a killer.

[Chorus]

I've been to:
Boston, Charleston, Dayton, Louisiana,
Washington, Houston, Kingston, Texarkana,
Monterey, Faraday, Santa Fe, Tallapoosa,

[Chorus]

Schefferville, Jacksonville, Waterville, Costa Rica,
Pittsfield, Springfield, Bakersfield, Shreveport,
Hackensack, Cadillac, Fond du Lac, Davenport,

[Chorus]

I've been to:
