Geocache Description:

Short walk through the forest from a paved parking spot.

Just off a paved road suitable for all cars. Less than 400 ft from parking. Colcord Road was named after the frontier family who settled near here in Pleasant Valley in the late 1800's. The infamous Pleasant Valley War that raged on for almost ten years took place in this area over sheep vs. cattle.
