A cache designed to provide a convenient portal for Travel Bugs with a goal of heading around Australia or around the World from Launceston.
This Travel Bug Hotel is inspired by the work of Team Ladava of Sunbury, Victoria, who have placed a series of TB hotels in the aforementioned state. They kindly forwarded the plans for constructing the cache and have given permission for these plans to be available to anyone who wants them. The purpose of these hotels is to place secure caches near airports, ports, major routes etc. to enable TB’s to be moved interstate or overseas. If you would like to add to the series in your area, contact GoldJ or Team Ladava for a drawing and construction notes.
We also pay tribute to the Team who have created many very clever caches and are an inspiration to those who seek them.
GZ is best approached from the south. There is ample parking available but beware....it's a high muggle area. This cache had to be moved because it was muggled and a quantity of trackables was stolen.
If you take trackables please leave the same number (or more) behind. The idea is not to remove every single TB or geocoin in the cache!!
