Geocache Description:

A small and straightforward cache in Manuka, located at one of Canberra's historic churches. Note: it's not on church grounds; in late 2013 it was muggled, so we relocated it to a (hopefully) more durable location.

St Paul's Anglican Church, Manuka, is one of Canberra's historic churches. It's a striking example of 1930's architecture. Even today it's a vibrant and friendly place. This cache is being placed by Calroth and Denbe (with the permission of the church's Rector) on the 29th of December 2010, to commemorate a significant event in our lives. It's also our first cache.

It's hidden, but not in a difficult place (and not on church grounds). It's relatively easy to drive by and pick up. As this is a church, you're most welcome to take a wander around. Muggle activity will be high on Sundays, during weddings, church events, etc... and take care at night; although this is Manuka, the Rector has mentioned that there can sometimes be unsavoury characters on church grounds. Of course, the guy upstairs is always watching!

"The Purple Sparkly Cache" is, as its name suggests, purple and sparkly! When you open it up, be careful not to scatter purple glitter everywhere. The cache container is small, with room for a purple sparkly log book, a purple pen for signing, and small swaps. To start, we're stocking it with a French Horn travel bug, a purple super bouncy ball, a purple dinosaur, a purple badge, and an unactivated travel bug.

Swaps should be purple, sparkly, or both!
