L’aéroport de Vichy -
Charmeil (code OACI : LFLV) est un aéroport situé à Charmeil dans
l'Allier, au nord de Vichy (5 km du centre ville).Le parking est
gratuit.
D'une superficie de 130 ha, sa
piste de 2 200 m de long par 45 m de large permet l'accès de gros
porteurs civils ou militaires. Le Concorde y a fait escale le 9
septembre 1983. L'aéroport abrite l'aéroclub de Vichy et accueille
de nombreux avions privés. Il n'y a actuellement pas de ligne
commerciale régulière.
L'aéroport est régulièrement le siège de manifestations sportives
ou de démonstration (parachutisme, RSA, constructeurs amateurs,
patrouille de France, ...).
Cache facile située à proximité
de l'Aéroclub de Vichy où j'ai appris à piloter (souvenirs,
souvenirs, ...).
Attention aux moldus qui peuvent
être nombreux !!
De votre discrétion et de votre
façon de recamoufler cette cache dépendent sa survie.

The Vichy Charmeil airport
(ICAO code : LFLV) is located close to Charmeil, north of Vichy
(about 5 km from downtown Vichy). Parking is free.
Its surface area is 130 ha and
its runway is 2200 meters long and 45 meters wide allowing civilian
and military heavy planes to operate on it. CONCORDE stopped over
on september, 9th 1983. The airport provides a base for many
private aircrafts. There are presently no more regular flights
(either domestic or international).
The airport regularly hosts
international sporting events (parachuting, microlighting,
aerobatics such as the "PATROUILLE DE FRANCE", ..).
Easy cache located close to the
"Aeroclub de Vichy" where I learned to fly.
Watch out ! There are sometimes
lots of people around. This cache's survival depends on your
discretion and your ability to hide it back efficiently.
