Approximately 20' off trail toward river. Need pen. May need tweezers.
2011 - Original cache was likely lost in the floods and storms.
2012-2015 twice replaced, 3rd container was dove.
2016 - Tethered location.
Watch for poison in summer months. Snakes, too.
This cache is part of a series placed in memory of some treasured Border Collies-hence the name "Border Patrol". The trail is ideal for walking dogs or biking, or if you have an energetic Border, running. We've raised and owned 5 Border Collies and are charmed by their personality and drive. The caches are located along the trail, some may be off the trail a few feet, but all are easily accessible from the bike trail. The trail is located along what was once a canal for transportation before other modes of shipping began along the Susquehanna river. The trail is dedicated to our border collies in order to get us out and walk them more. They remind us to enjoy life, even though we work hard.
