2011 - Original cache was a poptop type cache that washed away in one of several floods.

This cache is part of a series placed in memory of some treasured Border Collies-hence the name "Border Patrol". The trail is ideal for walking dogs or biking, or if you have an energetic Border, running. We've raised and owned 5 Border Collies and are charmed by their personality and drive. This cache is off the trail approximately 25 feet, and there is a lot of over overgrowth and deadfall from the recent floods. Look carefully for this cache.

The trail is located along what was once a canal for transportation before other modes of shipping began along the Susquehanna river. The trail is dedicated to our border collies in order to get us out and walk them more. They remind us to enjoy life, even though we work hard.
