Geocache Description:

This cache continues a series of hides dedicated to songs by individual artists or groups I enjoy and also relate to the cache itself. This cache is also dedicated to BeerCache 2010!

Beercache 2010 is an event, a happening, a gathering of sorts that allows folks to get together and yap about their favorite pastime…geocaching. As such, it allows folks to share a common interest that quite frankly a lot of people find…well…”interesting”. In my never ending pursuit to make our little pastime a little more user-friendly I spend time finding common ground between geocaching and my passion for music. We here you go. This particular cache is dedicated to a group I find VERY enjoyable. The Zac Brown Band is fast becoming one of my favorites for the simple fact they are not afraid to cultivate a unique sound that combines country, reggae and bluegrass. As a result, they have opened for a lot of acts including the Allman Brothers, Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, heck, the even opened for Etta James. They have also paid their dues and have developed a loyal fan base…they are FAR from an overnight success! The cache’s namesake, Toes comes from their first major-label album The Foundation released on November 18th, 2008. Toes is one of my favorites for the simple reason I love how it makes me feel. Now the cache has its connection to the song for one simple reason…you cache because you enjoy it. The first part of the song puts you in the same state of mind and relates directly to Beercache 2010, so here you go….(oh, I apologize for one particular word in advance…sorry, you can chastise me later)…
I got my toes in the water, ass in the
sand

Not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand

Life is good today. Life is good today.
One more thing….depending on if it rains, your toes may be in the water and you’re a** in the bush? Have fun out there people!!
