Geocache Description:

Six Hundred FortySixth in the Famous People (FP) Series - A.J. and Cobin Frazier
A. J. and Cobin were two young brothers who lived a very short time. A most tragic event took their lives together. Some times a child's death is natural, some times is it medical and some times it is an accidental tragedy. Unfortunately, in our day and time, their are even times when the death of children is purposeful and even premeditated.

We don't know why some times bad things happen to innocent children, but when it does, it is not ours to wonder. We simply must live with the tragic consequences and work every day to fill the void that we feel for the loss that we have suffered. Young or old, we still feel the loss. In some circumstances, when illness has consumed a life that seems to be filled with constant pain and suffering, we tend to justify the ending of that life with a hope that the pains and sufferings have given way to an eternal existance of peacefulness.

But no matter what your beliefs along this line may be, we still must find a way to live our lives with the ever present hole in the heart that comes from the loss of a loved one. Some of us are fortunate to know that we will never experience the loss of such a young sibling, but yet we will forever live our lives praying for the best of our children and our children's children and so on. We do know what it is like to loose a young relative, and how painful that loss lingers for years on end, but we shall never know the depth of pain that is brought from losing a young child such as these two sweet and innocent young lives immortalized here.

Located in the Land Of Memory Cemetery near Palestine, Texas in Anderson county, this cache starts here at the resting place of A.J. and Cobin Frazier in respect to their memory and to the support of the family with whom they spent their short lives together. Please pay your respects and take some time to contemplate how necessary it is to let those loved ones that are still with us know how much they are loved no matter what short-comings we may think they have. Remember all those times that we looked at our children and our children's children with irritance and frustration, and then try to realize just how special and short our lives here together really are. Then you will not only forgive them, but show them the love and support that they've come to know and expect from their parents, grandparents, relatives, relatives-in-law and the rest of the extended family. For there will come a day when you will not regret it. You can bet your tethered matchstick on it.
