An amazing Hindu temple. A must see if your in the area.
Bangkokians call Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Wat Khaek. Located on Silom Road, on the corner of Silom Road and Pan Road. Dedicated to the Goddess Mariamman it was built by the Indian community in the 1860s. First there was a small temple then they added to it. The temple is well used by the Indian Hindu community and there are always worshipers there.
What makes this temple stand out is the painting of it. Adorned with figurines and deities which are painted in bright and cheerful colors in great contrast making the temple a festival of color.
