General:
Cache is a traditional small LnL. I drove
passed this point several times and I never noticed the grave yard.
My wife saw it for the first time today. As far as we could
gathered this graveyard contain black people and they were
part of Marievale's history. Here you will see the traditional
graves of black people. There are quite a number of graves if you
look at the stone heaps. The cache is not in the cemetery area but
outside as a sign of respect. During 1920 - 1930 mining activities
were dangerous. Some of them buried here are from that era.
They are truly forgotten.
