Geocache Description:




This is a two-stage geocache. For the first stage, go to the above coordinates where you will find a plaque set in the ground titled "STATE BIRD: MOCKINGBIRD." There are four lines on the plaque describing why the Mockingbird was selected as the state bird of Texas.

For the decimal minutes of the N coordinate, count the number of letters in the following words:
A. Line 1, word 4
B. Line 1, word 8 (a date counts as one word)
C. Line 2, word 7

For the decimal minutes of the W coordinate, count the number of letters in the following words:
