Geocache Description:

I set this cache up as an easy find for two reasons:

1.) Good for beginners. This type of hide got me hooked.
2.) Good for folks who aren’t ambulatory enough to go hiking over
the river and through the woods but still want the caching
experience.

Anyway … enjoy!

Second Indian Spring cache is another cache and dash but in a high muggle and mini-muggle area so use much stealth.

After all the positive comments about the Community, I feel a short History is in order...

The Indian Spring Community was built in 1940. What is now the YMCA was originally the Indian Spring Country Club complete with an 18 hole Golf Course. Construction of the Beltway cut the Golf Course in half and the Country Club moved to Layhill Road. Where the Rec Center now stands there used to be a barn that housed the equipment used to maintain the Gold Course. My parents bought their house here in 1944. I bought here in 1975. All in all, a wonderful place to live and raise your kids.
