In 2014 the eyes of the world will be on Scotland as the
Commonwealth Games comes to Glasgow and the Gleneagles hosts the
Ryder Cup and Scots at home and abroad mark the anniversary of
Bannockburn.
Its being proposed that another Mega Event be held in Scotland , in
Ayr , home of our Bard and Culture Capital of the country .
Intention is to meet for some food at 6:30 p.m in Dalgarvan House ,
and have a general rammy ( its Gaelic for discussion) about the
feasibility and practicality of holding a Mega event in Scotland to
coincide with the Homecoming year .
Some initial queries have suggested that Homecoming Scotland and
South Ayrshire Council are prepared to support the project , but it
requires a committee of people dedicated to see it through
.
Idea is to gather volunteers who are prepared to help / participate
in the madness.........
There is a room booked at Dalgarven House at 6:30 p.m ....for a
meal ~ £10 ( optional ) and a general rammy at 8:00 pm .
