Ample parking at the Sherwood Lake parking lot. Walk down the wooden bridge to the lake and then begin to follow your GPSr. The cache is on the playground-side of the lake.
I grew up in Sherwood Forest; lived there for 18 years. I know the woods of this neighborhood inside and out and I want to share it with everyone. I used to play at this lake when I was a little boy until I grew up, then in high school I used to play football here with the neighborhood kids. I now live in Tamarac right across the street from Sherwood and I still frequent the lake in the summer time.
This cache is supposed to be an alternative to the seemingly dead "Sherwood Forest" cache; I tried to find it before I planted this and I could not.
This cache is part of "The Wood" series; be on the lookout for "The Wood III" and "The Wood IV" and make sure to find "The Wood" if you have not already!
