MMelb (Geo-junior) LOVES Supercars and has been thinking about how he could combine this with caching and has come up with the following puzzle ... His favourite Supercar is a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 SV and he says ....." I WILL own one one day!!!!! ..... Or ............maybe not.... No, No .....probably not.... lol "
His favourite TV show on this topic is course TopGear and in conjunction with The Stig he has hidden the cache at the following co-ordinates. Actually MMelb IS the Stig .... he has a t-shirt saying so!!
Some say ...... the co-ordinates are as follows .....
S37 46. [ (Lamborghini LP670-4 SV minus Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder) minus (Roush Mustang minus Lamborghini Miura) ] minus 5
E 145 11.[Pagani Zonda F Roadster minus (Audi R8 V10 minus {Roush Mustang minus Lamborghini Miura})] plus 19
Just a little hint here ... google is NOT your friend!
And an extra big hint ... as the book is no longer easily available in local libraries or book shops the relevant photos are in the gallery. As the photos have been resized by the website you will have to "Control +" to see the figures properly :-)
You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.
Now to the cache ..... once you have solved the co-ords, park at the parking co-ords and walk through the middle of the first 2 large metal structures in a diagonal direction and you will very quickly arrive at the trailheader co-ords. Follow the track around and you don't need to leave the track until the final few metres. The cache is a 400ml camoflauged sistema container containing the usual small swaps and log. There's also a FTF Pathtag for the FTF.
You may not see any Supercars whilst in the area but if you do then please include them in your log. MMelb would be rapt!! Also he would love it if you include your favourite Supercar in your log.
MMelb decided that seeing you would be doing all the hard work with the puzzle that he wanted the hide to be an easy one unlike our traditional hides! lol ....... WELL..... unless you are looking for it in the pitch black dark of night!! Then, yes, it will be harder!! lol
Please make sure the cache is completely covered when you rehide it - thanks :-)
Oh and just as an aside - it's an absolute fluke as to what 2 "areas" the cache is hidden between but it is just so fitting!!! Can you work out the relevance???
CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM CRACKERS and MR COFFEE AND THE COFFEE CLAN for the FTF!
