This is the first cache I've placed. Access to Redlees Park is very easy. There is a car park available off the Blantyre Ferme Road and the paths around the cache are very good. Finding the cache itself involves a little change in elevation and isn't really suitable for small children, but you're never that far from the main path.
The cache is a coloured, transparent plastic box. There is a pencil to mark the log book. I've placed a travel bug inside to start things off. In winter, this should be fairly easy to access, but in summer, a bit of undergrowth might be encountered. Please recover if found.
It's worth having a walk around the quarry and further afield to the old AA battery at the Whins Camp if you're visiting
