Geocache Description:

A less common micro cache placed beside a path towards the bottom of a wooded hill.

Guildford Chantries - South. One of a series of nine.

The cache is a less common (but not uncommon) micro container.

The Chantries form part of the ridge of the North Downs, just to the South of Guildford. Chantry Wood is 78 hectares of mixed woodland and an Area of High Ecological Value within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in striking distance of Guildford Town Centre.

The Chantries are popular with walkers (and dogs) all year. Rabbits, deer, badgers and foxes live wild there. In April/May the wooded area is a mass of bluebells. The top of the hill has open fields with stunning views to the south.

Please ensure that the cache is left with both plastic bags well sealed to keep the contents dry. The "First to Find" was Amberel.
