Geocache Description:

This cache is one of seven in my "Let's Read" Library Series of caches (see details below.)

The cache container holds a log, a few tiny trade items, a geopin for the FTF, and a question to help solve the seventh "Let's Read Puzzle Cache."

Please bring your own pencil.

Let's Read Library Series

Background In 2000, the residents of San Jose voted to pass a $212 million Library Bond Measure to build 6 new branches and remodel 14 of the 17 neighborhood libraries.

We are now enjoying the benefits of several new and remodeled neighborhood branches that not only include state-of-the-art libraries, but also provide Internet cafes, public art displays, and even community centers.

Our family spends enough time visiting our local libraries that we felt it was quite fitting to put together our own "Let's Read" series at our favorite local branches.

Details about this Series
Here are the seven caches in the "Let's Read" Library Series:
Note: The "Let's Read Puzzle Cache" requires you to find the other six caches first, and answer the library-related question included with each of the six caches. Don't forget to write down and save your answers to all six questions if you want to find the "Let's Read Puzzle Cache."

The Cambrian Library
The Cambrian branch re-opened in 2006. It's located across the street from one of our favorite stores, so we watched the entire construction project while we bought our weekly groceries.

There's a fancy 80-foot railing on the staircase up to the second floor that's covered with artwork, including bees, fruit, and woven patterns made out of stainless steel, glass, bronze, and bits of gold leaf. The artwork is called "Cambrian BeeLine" by Andrea Myklebust and Stanton Sears. Check it out!

Congratulations to voodoofun for being FTF!
