Ruins of Ooyama Haiji #2 (Tower Substructures)
Ooyama Haiji ruins are a lost temple ruins located in the northeastern mountain of Komaki city, Aichi pref.. The ruins are designate a national historic site in 1929. There is nothing left except substructures for temple buildings. The shrine is built on the part of the temple ground.
The cache is hidden in the shrine ground. Please bring your own pen.
大山廃寺跡#2（塔礎石）
大山廃寺跡（おおやまはいじあと）は、愛知県小牧市北東部の山中にかつて存在した寺院の跡で、1929年（昭和4年）に国の史跡に指定されています。建物などはまったく残っておらず、僧坊があったとみられる平らたくなった所に、塔を支えるために設置されたと考えられている5つの礎石があります。また、同寺と所縁がある児神社の境内から、近年になって平安時代の掘立柱建物3棟と中世の礎石建物2棟が見つかっています。一帯からは瓦や陶磁器なども多数見つかっていますが、これらの遺構は、現在、小牧市歴史館に展示・保存されています。
