Geocache Description:

This cache is set in the pretty village of Corton. Can be a quick cache and dash but well worth spending a little time to enjoy the view and to read the information board. If you are caching with someone you can always have a game of fargling!!!! but please DO NOT FARGLE. The cache is wheelchair accessible but help will be needed to retrieve it.

CORTON was 1,495 acres (6.05 km2); of which 140 are water. The sea has made encroachments. Mammoth bones and other interesting fossils have been found. The church, excepting chancel and tower, was long dilapidated; but has been partially restored. Corton's beaches are located along the base of a line of cliffs, which are suffering gradual erosion. Recent sea defences to protect the crumbling cliffs at Broadland Sands Holiday Park have cut a two mile (3 km) stretch of beach off from the sea.
Congratulations SPARKLE01 for first to find.
