Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Loe Bar which is a coastal feature made of shingle and sand that seperates Loe Pool , cornwalls largest freshwater pool from the atlantic ocean. The bar was formed during the 13th century and this meant that the estuary to Helston was blocked and the formation of Loe Pool .

The terrain is ok for buggies and strollers tho may not be suitable for wheelchairs as you need to go onto the bar to retrieve the cache. Please keep a eye on young Geo-cachers and Geo-hounds as the sea and pool can be dangerous places. You do not need to climb over or into anywhere to retrieve the cache.

With thanks to The National Trust for giving permission to place this cache.
