Geocache Description:

Do not go to the stated location! There is no cache there though you will find it within 2 miles of this location. You will begin your journey from this spot though.

To find the final coordinates, simply follow these directions:

 From the start location to Way Point #1: Travel 1.426miles at 353.239 degrees.

From Way Point #1 to Way Point #2: Travel 1.725 miles at 343.312 degrees.

From Way Point #2 to Way Point #3: Travel 1.798 miles at 252.646 degrees.

From Way Point #3 to Way Point #4: Travel 1.212 miles at 209.516 degrees.

From Way Point #4 to Way Point #5: Travel 1.072 miles at 209.033 degrees.

From Way Point #5 to the cache: Travel 1.621 miles at 101.204 degrees.

Obviously, you could go to each way point listed and that would be an exciting hike, but know that you don't have to. What you do need to do is find a mapping system that is accurate to the decimals I listed.

Click here when you think you have the final coordinates. As different mapping systems round differently, coordinates within 100' of the actual coordinates will register a success. The cache is on the downhill side of the road behind some old stumps and kind of under an evergreen tree. It is roughly at the 1600' level and about a 2 mile hike one-way. Wear appropriate clothing (There was 6" of snow when I hid it!) You are looking for a 6" X 8" X 4" Rubbermaid container. Enjoy the views too. I believe I saw Mt. Jefferson and the top of one of the Sisters!
