Geocache Description:

This multi will take you to a couple of historical locations along the Middleton to Port walk trail that are little known to most tourists. Parking is available at S 35° 01.742 E 117° 55.267 on Marine Drive, and it is a short walk down the stairs to access the walk trail and your first way point. Here you will find a plaque which will give you the information you require to get to the next way point. On arriving at the second way point you will find another plaque, and the same procedure is followed. The terrain is mostly a smooth walk trail but there are a couple of spots where you have to follow a gravel track, which can be a little slippery under foot. At no stage do you need to go bush bashing. If your GPS is telling you to head bush, don't believe it. Just keep following the trail and you will soon come across an access point to the way point you are heading towards. The trail and gravel tracks are mainly wide and clear of vegetation so even in summer, snakes shouldn't be a problem. If you hear a rustling in the bushes near by it is most likely a harmless King Skink of which there are many in this area. This is one of the best walks around Albany and gives a commanding view of King George Sound. Taking this walk on a clear sunny day is reward enough, finding a cache along the way is just a bonus. Below are the questions you need to answer to get you to the final location.

Way point 2
The day of the month that Nicolas died - 35 02.?2?
The day of the month that the expedition left - 117 55.?3?

Way point 3
When did Samuel arrive – 35 0?+1.?-8?+2?-1
What year in the 20th century did it shut down - 117 55.?0?

Final location
What is the day of the month on the plaque - 35 0?.975
What is the year - 117 5?+3.?+1?+7?+3
