Have you seen Lucy stomping those grapes. Hilarious!! Trying to get the feel for a movie role while in Europe Lucy decides to soak up some local color and get that Italian feel for vineyards and winemaking.
Dressed in typical peasant attire and carrying a bunch of grapes Lucy nonchalantly wanders into a vineyard inhabited by a motley conglomeration of Italian-speaking women. When the male supervisor spots Lucy's feet (one of the local women likens them them to "huge pizzas"), she is quickly dispatched to the wine-making area. Lucy steps into the huge grape-filled vat along with a local gal, Teresa, and the two proceed to stomp the grapes into chianti. Lucy frolicks in the vat stomping and skipping around for a bit and then poops out and decides to take a break. Her partner in the vat disapproves and the fight is on. Lucille Ball once commented that bouncing around in that grape vat was like "stepping on eyeballs". First to find will get a shot glass memorializing this episode if they wish to take or or leave it for Lucy buffs to take a look at. Your choice.
