Hunters Blunder Traditional Cache

The best laid plans and all that stuff.
When I first decided to place a cache here, I followed all my
normal planning. Read a few maps, made a few calls, and finally,a
road trip to the area.
All systems were a go.
But, then I realized I wasn't as clever as I thought I was.
What I intended was a drive down a country dirt road followed by a
little over 1 mile easy hike to the cache area. Imagine my surprise
when I got to ground zero and saw a causeway crossing the waterway
which now turned my cache hunt into around a .2 or .25 mile
trek!!!
It seems that in my haste to scout the area I forgot to take one
thing into consideration.
Water levels!!
My scouting drive was at the end of spring when the level of Tygart
Lake was up, but now, the water level was down!
Hence the now visible and eminently passable causeway!!!
