This is a camo'ed peanut butter jar (I did put it through the dishwasher first but if you're allergic to peanuts, you might want to pass or bring a friend to open it!). This cache was placed to honor new geocacher Terrapin44 and celebrate his completion and submission of his book to the publisher on Cloud Computing.
Since the cache was placed in his honor, I gave him the coordinates to be the FTF before listing it publicly.
I noticed the entrance to this trail a couple of months ago and thought, "this would be a good place for a cache". As I wanted to place a cache for terrapin44 to celebrate his hard work in completing and submitting his book to the publisher this week, I knew right where to place his celebratory cache.
The cache is in a clear area about 10 or so feet off the trail. There is no need to go into the briars. From the trail, if you look around, it will be in the most obvious spot, use your "geosenses".
This area may be used for hunting during the appropriate seasons, so please use proper precautions during those times.
