Geocache Description:

Big FTF Congrats for N R_Teacher!, Congrats :-)

Upped difficuly based on logs.

Large Micro.

Saw this location pop up this morning as the previous cache had been archived so I said, sure why not ;-)

Cache is just outside the park as you leave. Pull up and park in the park, great place for photo shoots, picnics etc. and a very short walk to the cache site, or grab it on the way out.
Would suggest that it be found during daylight hours as the park is open sunrise to sunset.

Back in High School we would come out and get into the period of the park. Dutch oven, dipping candles, making bricks etc.
I and two of my buddies were the trappers down by the river. We dressed up in trapper garb and had plaster casts where we would make prints for the kids to identify. Very good times and memories!!

I sure hope this park is not slated for closure! Please take time to check it out along with the visitor center, very cool place! I am sure they would more than enjoy the company and support.
