We were out hiking in George Bush Park and decided to explore a
new area. As we made our way through this section, you could see a
lot of evidence of feral pigs in the area. Finally as we approached
a suitable cache location, we spied a half dozen pretty large pigs
digging for food. They didn't bother us but didn't move much
either. It was pretty cool to see them in the wild.
This area will get very wet with some rain. The terrain itself
is not too bad, lots of high grass and some thorns, but not nearly
like the thorns in other areas of the park. You most likely will
run into pigs, deer, snakes and other critters out here so be
prepared and have fun!
