Geocache Description:

A New Year, a New Cache!

I grew up on the street nearby and played in these woods all my life. Once you get to the cache site you will see one of my favorite places that I used to love to hang around on. The whole area around the cache used to be a clear field before thick woods started and lead down to Corder Rd. Now the field is overgrown and the woods have thinned out significantly with numerous fallen trees littering the path. I often wonder if my woods will get torn down, as the private driveway nearby turned into a paved 2-lane road for better access to Warner Robins Middle School. But, the woods are still here and I wanted to finally place a cache here for everyone.

There are 3 ways to possibly access this cache. I would not recommend accessing the cache from the road next to the middle school, as there really is no place to pull off. If you are hitting this cache over the weekend or weeknight, parking at the middle school is an option. Otherwise, the end of Victor St might work for you or a better option would be the back of the parking lot off of Corder Rd for Salon Suites. This is a bit of a longer walk, but you get to walk through the whole woods.

This is a small camoed rubbermaid lock-it that will hold small trade items. Have fun hunting this and make sure to re-hide very well as there is foot traffic through the area from the middle school.
