Geocache Description:

Since the original location of this cache was in private property, I have re-hid it in a better place Within the Ostrom Conservation Site.

The Ostrom Conservation Site Is a 40 acre nature preserve located on the west side of South Pass Road. It features a 1mi interpretive trail that is maintained by the students of the Nooksack Valley School District. The interpretive trail forms a loop, and has numbered posts and a brochure that to goes with it. The brochure can be found here: (visit link)

This cache is located near the beginning or the trail, on the side of an old road bed that was probably used to log the forest long ago. Depending on when you get the cache, the way to it can be a bit brushy.
The cache container is a lock-and -lock that can hold most trade items. Please rehide this well, though it's far enough off trail that there is small chance if it getting muggled. Parking can be found in a pullout on South Pass Rd.
