This cache was hidden while snowshoeing around the Lightning Lake loop trail.
We like to get out snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter but not many trails have caches that are easy to find once the snow starts to fall. I wanted to add a few to an easy snowshoeing trail, that you can also ski on, or hike it in the summer. The trail is 9km and takes a couple of hours. The cache is a small container, hanging. It may need to be tucked in a better place if it is too visible so feel free to rehide it if it was too easy, just make sure it won't get buried in the snow.
