Betcha didn't know there was this much of a "mountain" anywhere in Warner Robins! It's fun to look down on the motorists on Russell Parkway as they make their way into and out of the city. Parking isn't where you might think! Make life easier for yourself by coming in from Lake Joy Road or Hatcher Road, parking at N32° 35.032, W083° 41.313, and then walking to your destination. Please don’t park or drive on the lower grass area directly in front of the pavilion. Doing so could damage the sprinkler system.
There are other caches in the area, so plan enough time to hunt them all.
While in the area, be sure to take advantage of the picnic facilities, sit a while in the swings, enjoy the fountain, or hike/bicycle on the trails. NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES are allowed on the trails! If you want to fish, you will need to get a permission slip from the church office, which is open M-F 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dogs are not allowed in the area now. The area opens at dawn and closes at dusk.
