We hid this cache while snowshoeing around the Lightning Lake Loop trail.
I love to get out cross country skiing or snowshoeing once we get some snow. I also like to be able to find a few caches on the trail and since there aren't too many winter caches around we figured we would have to hide a few. This cache can be found by hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and isn't too far from the boat launch area at the end of the lake. The trail is about 9 km's and takes a few hours to hike the complete loop. This is a beautiful trail and can be enjoyed year round, and now there is a cache that shouldn't get buried in the snow so cachers can have some winter fun too. The cache is a small container hanging by a wire.
