This is a seasonal cache...only acces to it is in the winter...January through March is best. There is truly no access to this cache from the road. Unless you care to make your own trail. Must access on the many trails behind the old miner trench. (Built when putting in Chena Pump Road.) Many snow machines mark part of the trail...following footsteps to the old trail is easy if you enter from the west end of the trail.
The cache itself is a pod big enough to hold small items and is very easily found in the winter. About three inches around and 11 inches deep.
