The Order of the Arrow (OA) is the national honor society of the
Boy Scouts of America (BSA). It uses American Indian-styled
traditions and ceremonies to bestow recognition on scouts selected
by their peers as best exemplifying the ideals of Scouting.. I am
proud to be an Arrowman.
Within the Order of the Arrow, there are three levels of
membership. They are:
Ordeal
Brotherhood
Vigil
For a Scout to be elligible for election into the Order of the
Arrow, they must obtain the rank of First Class, meet a minimum
number of nights camping and demonstrate the Spirit of
Scouting.
This challenge will be used as the Ordeal level of Scout Caching.
The requirements are simple: Find a minumum of 10 caches related to
Scouting.
With the BSA marking their 100th year, there are several caches in
the areaPlease post the caches you are using with your log.
The location of the cache can be tricky at time, so it not
recommended to small children. Parking is close enough to warrent a
short walk. Bring something to write with.
