A mountain of memories, and rest Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Growly Bear: As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A mountain of memories, and rest.
This cache is accessible from 2 entries. Anyhow, the start point of this multicache is the entry displayed on the left picture. You might want to print out this listing if your caching device doesn't display Images.

Stage 1:
After entering the first stage, you will find 4 benches next to a foot path. The coordinates lead you to one of those benches, a memorial. Find the word that follows after 'SUPREME'. Use the code table to decifer your next coordinates.

Letters: 3=B,5=C,6=A Coordinates: S 36 52.A2C / E 174 47.2B2

Stage 2:
The second stage is all about the view, and yes ... a bench. And when you got a little bit sweaty, well take a rest and enjoy the view! Fill in the word between 'All' and 'in'.

Letters: 2=E,5=D,6=F,9=G Coordinates: S 36 52.6EF / E 174 47.DG0

Stage 3:
The third stage will provide you with the coordinates to the final location. Finish the sentence and decode the missing word: 'Who for over 90 Years Lived by This <word>'

Letters: 1=H,2=J,3=K,6=I Coordinates: S 36 52.KH0 / E 174 47.J6I

Code Table:
Letters: 1=H,2=J,3=K,6=I Coordinates: S 36 52.KH0 / E 174 47.J6I

How to use the Code Table:

The code table is pretty straight forward. You will be asked to fill in a word to decode a sequence of numbers. In our case our word is 'EASY' and the number sequence is: 2 D 4 A 6 C

 2 D 4 A 6 C

Now look up the number for the letter if it is marked in the second row with a variable. If you have problems memorizing this, write it down.

  • E = 5 => D
  • A = 1 => A
  • Y = 2 => C
Now substitute the letters to decode the number: 2 5 4 1 6 2

This cache is part of a challenge that will be published in the future. Therefore the cache container looks a bit, well ... odd. If you want to participate in the challenge, write down the number that has been written in the cache lid and/or what national flag is glued to the container lid.
When placed, the cache was filled with : 3 rubber spiders (cache guards,please leave them in), a logbook,silicia gel, a pen and a Geocoin.

PLEASE BE STEALTHY There is a chance that you can be seen while retrieving the cache. If you feel that you've been watched, come back later. Place the cache exactly where you have found it.
