A cache near the Kakanui river mouth.
Near the river mouth on the south side is a small reserve care for by the Kakanui school. There has been estensive plantings and a number of nest boxes have been set out for penguins.
The cache is not in this restricted area but nearby and you do not have to enter the restricted area. The cache is a 200ml sistema container with a log book only bring your own pen or pencil.
