Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at one of my local churches and is one of three churches in the parish of Northill.

As the church is so close to the road, to make it more than a cache and dash you need to solve the clues to find the cache.

All Saints church is part of the parish of Northill. The foundation stone was laid on 25 Jul 1867 and the church, which was designed by architect Arthur W.Blomfield, was consecrated on 16 Apr the following year.

All answers are on headstones within a short distance from the pathway. When the cache was placed they were all easy to read, but nature has taken place and some are now more difficult to read than others. My thanks to Salsiccia who reports that the first two are easy to find/read, but the other two are more challenging (but still possible).

The cache is hidden off the path.

Find the letters A-H:

Edith May Brunt died on 1A May 1966. Her brother who is also remembered on the headstone died on 2B Feb aged C0.

Herbert Stokes died on 30 Dec 196D and his wife was 9E when she passed away.

Hildred Tita died in 197F

Henry West passed away in the G month in 1894 aged 3H.

Now you have the letters you need to solve the following maths:

N52.(A-B)(F).(D+E+H)(E+H)(C-E)
W000.(H)(B-H).(A+H)(D-F)(D-E)

It wasn't a very good day for accurate GPS co-ordinates, so if anyone finds them vastly out and can improve, please let me know.

This cache has been placed with permission of the church wardens. Please respect the church and the grounds whilst you enjoy your visit.

More information about the church and Upper Caldecote can be found here: (visit link)

FTF goes to Samurai Sword.

[If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication]
