Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of presidential caches.

NEW INFORMATION - APRIL 9, 2022: Today I replaced the cache. The original hiding spot has rotted away, so I hid it very nearby. You can get some bounce on your GPS in this area, but when I re-hid it the GPS stayed steady at about 4 feet for over 2 minutes.

Also, I added a trailhead coordinate. It is about a .12 mile walk from the trailhead. You can find a closer spot to enter the woods, then bushwack over, but the trail is an easier walk. It's up to you.

These caches will come in a variety of sizes, difficulties and terrains. They will be placed all across the area. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding them.

Zachary Taylor the twelfth U.S. president. He was born on November 24, 1784 in Virginia. He died suddenly on July 9, 1850 while still in office. He was the second president in history to die while in office. He was president from March 4, 1849 until his death on July 9, 1850. He was affiliated with the Whig party. He was nicknamed "Old Rough and Ready". He was the first president who had not previously served in either congress or the continental congress. During his short tenure in office he had very few significant accomplishments.

This cache is sized between a micro and a small. It was hidden when a fair amount of snow was in the area, so it should be findable in the snow, but it might be tough if a large amount of accumulation occurs. The difficulty rating is due to a fair number of potential hiding spots in the area. Please be sure that you rehide the cache exactly as you find it.
