Geocache Description:

For centuries, people have been brewing there own alcoholic concoctions. So many factors go into the preparation of these drink that it is as much art form as science. The materials that make up the mash, the amount of impurities that are boiled off, the material that the alcohols are stored in, all participate in the outcome of the flavor and enjoyment of the final drink.

With the marvels of modern science, many alcohol flavors can be reproduced with essences, oils and extracts, instead of using vintage processes. Aficionados may disagree on the likeness of alcohols replicated in homebrewing, but many great beers, wines and spirits have been created in this process.

The picture below is a puzzle for those interested in learning a little more about spirited drinks. Determine a uniqueness to each of the alcohols listed below and you will have the solution. Salut!
