Anstey Hill Recreation Park
Anstey Hill is a diverse and historically interesting park in Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs. The park is characterised by steep gullies and creek lines and provides good views of the city and some substantial relics of European occupation to photograph and explore. First farmed in the 1840s, the area was subsequently used for mining, grazing, fruit growing and a plant nursery, which is now in ruins. Anstey Hill offers ample opportunities for bushwalkers, birdwatchers, photographers, painters and geocachers. The park is noted for its springtime display of orchids
