Geocache Description:

This magnetic cache is located approximately 30cm (1ft) above ground level not far from the possible WW2 rail block.

The rail block is a 3ft x 3ft x 3ft concrete cube located close by, here:
N 50° 51.866 E 000° 01.417

These cubes would be used to block the railway track in the event of a successful enemy invasion.

There is also a potential WW2 feature, a semi-circle of sandbags, a few hundred feet to the north, here:
N 50° 51.917 E 000° 01.446

NB: during WW2 the A27 was the narrow road running a short way to the east of this sandbag wall so the height of the surrounding ground would have been approximately level with this wall.
