Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of presidential caches.

These caches will come in a variety of sizes, difficulties and terrains. They will be placed all across the area. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding them.

James Buchanan was the fifteenth U.S. president. He was born in a log cabin on April 23, 1791 in Pennsylvania. He died on June 1, 1868. He was president from March 4, 1857 until March 4, 1861. He was affiliated with the Democratic party. He had very few accomplishments during his one term in office. The main issue was slavery, and he remained fairly inactive on the matter. During his tenure the seeds for the Civil War were being sown.

This will probably be a fairly tough find for some people. The area is not too bad to navigate during the winter, but might be difficult in the summer. The difficulty comes from the fact that it is fairly well hidden, and that there are plenty of potential hidding spots in the area. Be careful where you park. Remember - THERE IS NO PARKING ALONG THE BAYFRONT CONNECTOR!!! You have a few different options for approaching this cache. Please be sure that you rehide the cache at least as well as it was hidden when you found it.
