The cache is hidden a few miles south of Yuba City. By following the directions below, you will drive 3.5 miles thru the farm land SW of town where I have seen a variety of wild life over the years...such as deer, coyote, raptors, pheasants, ducks and geese, quail, song birds and gopher snakes. You may bring a stamp of your own, or you may use the stamp provided for you in the cache to stamp the log. Let me know whether or not you see any animals during your quest...
1. Start at the posted coordinates, facing W. You will notice some shiny red trucks on your left. Drive W, past three colorful lights, past a 35, past Oak and Frakes, past a fancy brick house with a wall in front, until reaching an octagonal sign. Continue W.
2. Drive past Blue Bird 18, past a pink mansion on your right and a new mansion on your left, until reaching an arrow. Turn left.
3. Drive S, past 45, past a pair of "lighthouse" driveway ornaments on your right, until reaching the ubiquitous red sign. Turn right.
4. Drive W, past a brown corrugated bldg with a flag pole, past Schwartz, past a lonely cedar on your left, past two rows of cypress on your right, past a leaning tree, until reaching a spot with five large electrical boxes on your left.
5. Continue W, past a cluster of palms across from a group of evergreens (behind a hedge), past a three-car garage, past a white fence with olive trees behind it, past a row of cypress trees, until reaching a spot with farm equipment on one side of you, and electrical transformers on the other side.
6. Continue W, past an open, rusty corrugated shed for about 75 yards...until reaching a low white concrete wall (on both sides of the road). Pull over, as you have arrived at the cache.
As this is my 1000th cache placement, the FTF prize is worth 1000 Abe Lincolns. Good luck...
