Geocache Description:


This cartridge will take you on a tour of Waterfront Park in Portland and you have to answer some questions and pick up some trash along the way. At the fountain counting fountain heads can be more challenging during the summer. What you want to count are the raised bollards fountain heads. Make sure you look for some trash to pick up at every location. Once you have completed the cartridge you have collected the information needed to find and retrieve the associated cache. The concept of this cache is based upon a Wherigo I did while on vacation in Oslo, Norway, but it has been modified to work in Waterfront Park. Be aware that the cache is in a high muggle density area, so stealth is needed when retrieving and returning the cache. All intermediate points and the final cache location should be wheelchair accessible. This cache is not at the posted coordinates; they are to the starting point of the adventure. The Whereigo cartridge is available from the related Web page. Be sure to log the WIG Cart upon completion. Hopefully you find it entertaining, and I also hope that this one will work for most. Please log the WIG cartridge at wherigo.com and the cache at geocaching.com. If you run into issues with the cartridge please let me know and I’ll try and fix it. The cache starts out with an un-activated micro Happy Caching – Ladybug GC for FTF. "This cache complies with the geocaching policies for Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) properties.
